This is the view of the former "platform" where the pulpit was located.
It was odd to have to remove the cross from the wall; but the reason will soon be very evident.

The hardwood floor after the carpet was removed.
We will sand and stain this before we install the cabinets.

The paneling and drywall have been removed.  So far so good.

The three stained glass windows are coming into view.

The stained glass is in full view of the soon to be great room and kitchen.

The final framing and drywall will be later...

The demo returns...

Additional walls are removed.  Make way for the master walk in closet.
Eventually this will also be a storage closet.
More exposed walls for the water proofing.

Demolition Continues...

Prior to the water proofing of the basement all of the drywall had to be removed.  This was so the waterproofing could be installed directly to the concrete wall.

After the demolition was complete.  It is amazing what you can find behind those walls.  Not too many surprises...yet.

Sorry it has taken so long to get this up to date.  A lot has happened and with youth camps and preparing for school to start soon this has been the last thing on my mind.

I will add some before and after photos to show the progress before we have the basement waterproofed.  All of the outside walls need to be down to the bare concrete for the waterproofing system to be installed.

This is the inside of our new home! It really only looked like this in the few days before we moved in. As you can imagine we have filled it up. It kinda looks like a furniture store exploded in here now. We are doing all of our living in the upstairs until the downstairs has the waterproofing done.

Our new home!

We purchased our old church property on May 29th and are going to convert it into our new home.

We are so excited to keep the property in our church family.
